خون پتوں پہ جما ہو جیسے

پھول کا رنگ ہرا ہو جیسے

بارہا یہ ہمیں محسوس ہوا

درد سینے کا خدا ہو جیسے

یوں ترس کھا کے نہ پوچھو احوال

تیر سینے پہ لگا ہو جیسے

پھول کی آنکھ میں شبنم کیوں ہے

سب ہماری ہی خطا ہو جیسے

کرچیں چبھتی ہیں بہت سینے میں

آئنہ ٹوٹ گیا ہو جیسے

سب ہمیں دیکھنے آتے ہیں مگر

نیند آنکھوں سے خفا ہو جیسے

اب چراغوں کی ضرورت بھی نہیں

چاند اس دل میں چھپا ہو جیسے

روز آتی تھی ہوا اس کی طرح

اب وہ آیا تو ہوا ہو جیسے
