چاند مجھ سے ملا چاندنی رات میں
صحنِ گلشن میں کتنا چراغاں ہوا
پروانہ جب بھی جلا چاندنی رات میں
محوِ رقصاں ہوئیں کس قدر ٹہنیاں
اشکِ غم جب گرا چاندنی رات میں
سوچتا ہوں اسی کرب میں رات بھر
وہ ہوا گر جدا چاندنی رات میں
وہ چٹکتے شگوفے، وہ رعنائیاں
رقص کرتی ہوا چاندنی رات یں
میری جانب پلٹ کر نہ آیا حماد
کیوں ہوا وہ خفا چاندنی رات میں
