بنا دیں گی دنیا کو اک دن شرابی

یہ بد مست آنکھیں یہ ڈورے گلابی

ہیں قصر محبت کے معمار دونوں

نگاہوں کا دھوکا دلوں کی خرابی

یہ کفر مجسم یہ زہد سراپا

یہ گنجان گیسو یہ روئے کتابی

ہر اک شے میں تم مسکراتے ہو گویا

ہزاروں حجابوں میں یہ بے حجابی

ابھی تک نگاہوں پہ چھائی ہوئی ہے

وہ مستی میں ڈوبی ہوئی نیم خوابی

عبث عشق کو انتظار اثر ہے

اثر تک کہاں آہ کی باریابی

بجز اس کے احسانؔ کو کیا سمجھئے

بہاروں میں کھویا ہوا اک شرابی
