میں نے پھر موت کو جیا ہوگا

اس کے ساگر سے لب لگائے تھے

اس نے اک گھونٹ تو پیا ہوگا

آج بلبل نے اس چنبیلی سے

جانے کیا کان میں کہا ہوگا

ایک باقی چراغ تھا اچھا

اس کو تم نے بجھا دیا ہوگا

کچھ دنوں قبل تک نیا تھا میں

اب جو ہے آج کل نیا ہوگا
