کبھی حریف کبھی ہم نوا ہمیں ٹھہرے

فراغ روہوی

کبھی حریف کبھی ہم نوا ہمیں ٹھہرے

کہ دشمنوں کے بھی مشکل کشا ہمیں ٹھہرے

کسی نے راہ کا پتھر ہمیں کو ٹھہرایا

یہ اور بات کہ پھر آئینہ ہمیں ٹھہرے

جو آزمایا گیا شہر کے فقیروں کو

تو جاں نثار طریق انا ہمیں ٹھہرے

ہمیں خدا کے سپاہی ہمیں مہاجر بھی

تھے حق شناس تو پھر رہنما ہمیں ٹھہرے

دلوں پہ قول و عمل کے وہ نقش چھوڑے ہیں

کہ پیشواؤں کے بھی پیشوا ہمیں ٹھہرے

فراغؔ رن میں کبھی ہم نے منہ نہیں موڑا

مقام عشق سے بھی آشنا ہمیں ٹھہرے
