خود کو بحال کرنا ہے کھونا نہیں ہے آج

آنکھوں نے دیکھتے ہی اسے غل مچا دیا

طے تو یہی ہوا تھا کہ رونا نہیں ہے آج

یہ رات اہل ہجر کے خوابوں کی رات ہے

قصہ تمام کرنا ہے سونا نہیں ہے آج

جو اپنے گھر میں ہے وہ ہے بازار میں نہیں

ہونا کسی کا شہر میں ہونا نہیں ہے آج

پھر طفل دل ہے دولت دنیا پہ گریہ بار

اور میرے پاس کوئی کھلونا نہیں ہے آج
