جو پہلے ذرا سی نوازش کرے ہے

فاروق رحمان

جو پہلے ذرا سی نوازش کرے ہے

وہی پھر شب و روز سازش کرے ہے

وہ دھوکے پہ دھوکہ دیے جائے لیکن

یہ دل پھر بھی اس کی سفارش کرے ہے

کسی دن ملے وہ کھلونوں کی صورت

مرا دل بھی بچوں سی خواہش کرے ہے

یہ دل کا خلل جان لے کر رہے گا

مسیحا تو بیکار کوشش کرے ہے

میں اس کی رگوں میں لہو بن کے دوڑوں

وہ میرے بدن میں رہائش کرے ہے

اسے پیاس صحرا کی بھاتی نہیں ہے

وہ فاروقؔ دریا پہ بارش کرے ہے

wo dhoke pe dhoka diye jae lekin
