ملنے کو تجھ سے چھت پہ مجھے زینہ چاہئے

یہ کون آ گیا ہے مرے اس کے درمیاں

دیوار ہے تو اس میں مجھے رخنہ چاہئے

تعمیر کے لیے مجھے درکار ایک عمر

تخریب کے لیے مجھے اک لمحہ چاہئے

یاروں نے میری راہ میں دیوار کھینچ کر

مشہور کر دیا کہ مجھے سایہ چاہئے

ملنے کا اب نہیں جو کسی بھی دکان میں

ہندوستان کا مجھے وہ نقشہ چاہئے
