ہیرا نند سوز
وہ میرے شیشۂ دل دل پر خراش چھوڑ گیا
دیار روح میں اک ارتعاش چھوڑ گیا
قدم قدم پہ ہوا جب منافقت کا شکار
تو اپنے شہر کی وہ بود و باش چھوڑ گیا
وہاں سے منزل عرفان ذات دور نہ تھی
وہ جس مقام پہ اس کی تلاش چھوڑ گیا
وہ شخص آپ ہی قاتل تھا آپ ہی مقتول
جہاں جہاں بھی گیا اپنی لاش چھوڑ گیا
کمال درجہ تھا اس میں شعور تیشہ گری
مرے وجود کو وہ پاش پاش چھوڑ گیا
تھا اس کے دست ہنر میں بھی آذری کا کمال
مگر وہ اپنا ہی بت ناتراش چھوڑ گیا

qadam qadam pe hua jab munafiqat ka shikar
to apne shahr ki wo bud-o-bash chhoD gaya
wahan se manzil-e-irfan-e-zat dur na thi
wo jis maqam pe us ki talash chhoD gaya
wo shaKHs aap hi qatil tha aap hi maqtul
jahan jahan bhi gaya apni lash chhoD gaya
kamal darja tha us mein shuur-e-tisha-gari
mere wajud ko wo pash pash chhoD gaya
tha us ke dast-e-hunar mein bhi aazari ka kamal
magar wo apna hi but na-tarash chhoD gaya
