بیچ آئے سر قریۂ زر جوہر پندار

جو دام ملے ایسے مناسب بھی نہیں تھے

مٹی کی محبت میں ہم آشفتہ سروں نے

وہ قرض اتارے ہیں کہ واجب بھی نہیں تھے

لو دیتی ہوئی رات سخن کرتا ہوا دن

سب اس کے لیے جس سے مخاطب بھی نہیں تھے
