کوئی وحشی چیز سی زنجیر پا جیسے ہوا

دور تک لیکن سفر کا سلسلہ جیسے ہوا

بند کمرے میں پراگندہ خیالوں کی گھٹن

اور دروازے پہ اک آواز پا جیسے ہوا

گرتی دیواروں کے نیچے سائے جیسے آدمی

تنگ گلیوں میں فقط عکس ہوا جیسے ہوا

آسماں تا آسماں سنسان سناٹے کی جھیل

دائرہ در دائرہ میری نوا جیسے ہوا

دو لرزتے ہاتھ جیسے سایہ پھیلائے شجر

کانپتے ہونٹوں پہ اک حرف دعا جیسے ہوا

پانیوں میں ڈوبتی جیسے رتوں کی کشتیاں

ساحلوں پر چیختی کوئی صدا جیسے ہوا

کتنا خالی ہے یہ دامن جس طرح دامان دشت

کچھ نہ کچھ تو دے اسے میرے خدا جیسے ہوا
