سراب دشت تجھے آزمانے والا کون

سراب دشت تجھے آزمانے والا کون

بتا یہ اپنے لہو میں نہانے والا کون

سواد شام یہ شہزاد گان صبح کہاں

سیاہ شب میں یہ سورج اگانے والا کون

یہ ریگزار میں کس حرف لازوال کی چھاؤں

شجر یہ دشت زیاں میں لگانے والا کون

یہ کون راستہ روکے ہوئے کھڑا تھا ابھی

اور اب یہ راہ کے پتھر ہٹانے والا کون

یہ کون ہے کہ جو تنہائی پر بھی راضی ہے

یہ قتل گاہ سے واپس نہ جانے والا کون

بدن کے نقرئی ٹکڑے لہو کی اشرفیاں

ادھر سے گزرا ہے ایسے خزانے والا کون

یہ کس کے نام پہ تیغ جفا نکلتی ہوئی

یہ کس کے خیمے، یہ خیمے جلانے والا کون

ابھرتے ڈوبتے منظر میں کس کی روشنیاں

کلام حق سر نیزہ سنانے والا کون

ملی ہے جان تو اس پر نثار کیوں نہ کروں

تو اے بدن مرے رستے میں آنے والا کون
