یہ رنگ گلاب کی کلی کا

نقشہ ہے کس کی کم سنی کا

بلبل کی بہار میں نہ پوچھو

منہ چومتی ہے کلی کلی کا

ہر وقت ہیں موت کی دعائیں

اللہ رے لطف زندگی کا

غنچوں کو صبا نے گدگدایا

دشوار ہے ضبط اب ہنسی کا

سمجھے تھے نہ ہم کہ تم پہ مرنا

ہو جائے گا روگ زندگی کا

ہوں ایک سے سب حسین کیونکر

ہے رنگ جدا کلی کلی کا

منہ پھیر کے یوں چلی جوانی

یاد آ گیا روٹھنا کسی کا

آئینہ بنا رہے ہو دل کا

دل ٹوٹ نہ جائے آرسی کا

دیکھو نہ جلیلؔ کو مٹاؤ

مٹ جائے گا نام عاشقی کا
