دل کے سب داغ کھلے ہیں گل خنداں ہو کر

رنگ لایا ہے یہ غنچہ چمنستاں ہو کر

دامن تر ہے کہ دفتر ہے یہ رسوائی کا

میری آنکھوں نے ڈبویا مجھے گریاں ہو کر

نیند آئی جو کبھی زلف کے دیوانے کو

چونک اٹھا خواب پریشاں سے پریشاں ہو کر

نگہ شوق تو در پردہ خبر لیتی ہے

آپ جائیں گے کہاں آنکھ سے پنہاں ہو کر

جلوہ گر آئنہ خانے میں ہوا کون حسیں

نقش دیوار ہیں سب آئنے حیراں ہو کر

دل میں آئے ہیں تو اب دل سے نکلتے ہی نہیں

گھر پہ قبضہ کیے بیٹھے ہیں وہ مہماں ہو کر

شہرۂ حسن ابھی کیا ہے شباب آنے دو

نام چمکے گا تمہارا مہ تاباں ہو کر

قتل کے بعد وفا میری جو یاد آئی ہے

سر جھکائے ہوئے بیٹھے ہیں پشیماں ہو کر

مست آنکھوں پہ بکھر جاتی ہے جب زلف جلیلؔ

میں سمجھتا ہوں گھٹا چھائی ہے مے خانوں پر
