بیمار محبت کی دوا ہے کہ نہیں ہے

میرے کسی پہلو میں قضا ہے کہ نہیں ہے

سنتا ہوں اک آہٹ سی برابر شب وعدہ

جانے ترے قدموں کی صدا ہے کہ نہیں ہے

سچ ہے کہ محبت میں ہمیں موت نے مارا

کچھ اس میں تمہاری بھی خطا ہے کہ نہیں ہے

مت دیکھ کہ پھرتا ہوں ترے ہجر میں زندہ

یہ پوچھ کہ جینے میں مزہ ہے کہ نہیں ہے

یوں ڈھونڈتے پھرتے ہیں مرے بعد مجھے وہ

وہ کیفؔ کہیں تیرا پتہ ہے کہ نہیں ہے
