اے میرے من کے شاہ پیا

مجھے آج بھی تیری چاہ پیا

مرے دل میں سچی پریت تری

تجھے کون کیا گمراہ پیا

میں گلے میں مالا ڈال پھری

میں نے اوڑھا رنگ سیاہ پیا

تو جس جس رستے سے گزرا

میں نے چومی ہر وہ راہ پیا

میں نے نو من تیل جلایا ہے

دھاگے باندھے درگاہ پیا

میں نے اشک بہائے مسجد میں

تو لوٹا کیوں نا آہ پیا

مرے درد بھرے ان شعروں پر

پھر لوگ کہیں گے واہ پیا

ترے در پر عرضی پیش کرے

تری شہزادی مرے شاہ پیا

سن رستہ تکتے نین تھکے

چل ڈھونڈ ناں کوئی راہ پیا

ترے ہجر میں چاند کو گہن لگا

مرا رنگ ہوا ہے سیاہ پیا

mujhe aaj bhi teri chah piya

mere dil mein sachchi prit teri
tujhe kaun kiya gumrah piya

main gale mein mala Dal phiri
main ne oDha rang-e-siyah piya

tu jis jis raste se guzra
main ne chumi har wo rah piya

main ne nau man tel jalaya hai
dhage bandhe dargah piya

main ne ashk bahae masjid mein
tu lauTa kyun na aah piya

mere dard bhare in sheron par
phir log kahenge wah piya

tere dar par arzi pesh kare
teri shahzadi mere shah piya

sun rasta takte nain thake
chal DhunD nan koi rah piya

tere hijr mein chand ko gahan laga
mera rang hua hai siyah piya
