خضر عباس
بحر بے آب کے علاوہ بھی
وہ ملے خواب کے علاوہ بھی
دل مرا چاہتا ہے رستہ ہو
گرد گرداب کے علاوہ بھی
کچھ مرے اور بھی تو دشمن ہیں
میرے احباب کے علاوہ بھی
حسن کہتا ہے دیجئے تشبیہ
مجھ کو مہتاب کے علاوہ بھی
کچھ سبب چاہئے تھا ملنے کا
باقی اسباب کے علاوہ بھی
داغ کچھ اور بھی جبیں پر ہیں
داغ محراب کے علاوہ بھی
فکر ہے مجھ کو سوکھے پیڑوں کی
شجر شاداب کے علاوہ بھی
پر پرندوں کے ہیں عزیز خضرؔ
مجھ کو سرخاب کے علاوہ بھی

dil mera chahta hai rasta ho
gard girdab ke alawa bhi
kuchh mere aur bhi to dushman hain
mere ahbab ke alawa bhi
husn kahta hai dijiye tashbih
mujh ko mahtab ke alawa bhi
kuchh sabab chahiye tha milne ka
baqi asbab ke alawa bhi
dagh kuchh aur bhi jabin par hain
dagh-e-mehrab ke alawa bhi
fikr hai mujh ko sukhe peDon ki
shajar-e-shadab ke alawa bhi
par parindon ke hain aziz 'KHizar'
mujh ko surKHab ke alawa bhi
