موت عنواں ہے اس فسانے کا

ہم بھی اپنے نہیں رہے اے دل

کس سے شکوہ کریں زمانے کا

زندگی چونک چونک اٹھی ہے

ذکر سن کر شراب خانے کا

کس کی آنکھوں میں آئے ہیں آنسو

رخ بدلنے لگا زمانے کا

برق نظروں میں کوند اٹھتی ہے

نام سنتے ہی آشیانے کا
