مقبول خاں مقبول
زندگی ازل سے سارے پانیوں کو عبور کرتی ہوئی
پھر ایک سنگم پر آ ٹھہری ہے
قدامت کی کوکھ میں نئی چنگاریاں سلگ رہی ہیں
جیسے نیا سورج چمکنے کو ہے
لٹوں سے دریاؤں کے سوتے
دور جدید کا بدل نہیں ہو سکتے
سوچتا ہوں
تم کس زمانے میں میرے وجود کا حصہ تھے
لیکن کسی دیوتا نے
جانے کیوں
میرے وجود سے تمہیں علاحدہ کر دیا
میں خود کو تلاش کرتا رہوں
جستجو
میرے خوابوں کو چھوتی رہی
اک نیا دور آئے گا
جہاں فاصلے نہیں ہوں گے

phir ek sangam par aa Thahri hai
qadamat ki kokh mein nai chingariyan sulag rahi hain
jaise naya suraj chamakne ko hai
laTon se dariyaon ke sote
daur-e-jadid ka badal nahin ho sakte
sochta hun
tum kis zamane mein mere wajud ka hissa the
lekin kisi dewta ne
jaane kyon
mere wajud se tumhein alahada kar diya
main KHud ko talash karta rahun
justuju
mere KHwabon ko chhuti rahi
ek naya daur aaega
jahan fasle nahin honge
