مست ہم کو شراب میں رہنا

کچھ ہو اس سیر آب میں رہنا

ابھی تو کچھ نیں کیا ہے غصے ہو

یونہی یونہی عتاب میں رہنا

اور سے بے حجابیاں کرنا

ایک ہم سے حجاب میں رہنا

تجھ بن اے شمع رو مجھے ہر شب

شعلہ سا اضطراب میں رہنا

یاد میں اس کی زلف کی اے دل

کب تئیں پیچ و تاب میں رہنا

کچھ تنبہ تجھے نہیں اب تک

نام بیدارؔ خواب میں رہنا

kuchh ho is sair-e-ab mein rahna

abhi to kuchh nin kiya hai ghusse ho
yunhi yunhi itab mein rahna

aur se be-hijabiyan karna
ek hum se hijab mein rahna

tujh bin ai shama-ru mujhe har shab
shoala sa iztirab mein rahna

yaad mein us ki zulf ki ai dil
kab tain pech-o-tab mein rahna

kuchh tanabboh tujhe nahin ab tak
nam 'bedar' KHwab mein rahna
