یاد گیسو و قد یار لیے پھرتے ہیں
ہم کہیں ہوں رسن دار لیے پھرتے ہیں
ہم ہیں وہ چاک گریباں جو زمانے کے لیے
شوق پیراہن زر تار لیے پھرتے ہیں
مدتیں ہو گئیں اس دامن رنگیں سے چھٹے
آج تک دیدۂ خوں بار لیے پھرتے ہیں
شرم اے زعم مسیحائی کہ اب بھی لاکھوں
جسم بیمار و دل زار لیے پھرتے ہیں

sharm ai zom-e-masihai ki ab bhi lakhon
jism-e-bimar-o-dil-e-zar liye phirte hain
