کوئی موسم ہو بھلے لگتے تھے

کوئی موسم ہو بھلے لگتے تھے
دن کہاں اتنے کڑے لگتے تھے
خوش تو پہلے بھی نہیں تھے لیکن
یوں نہ اندر سے بجھے لگتے تھے
روز کے دیکھے ہوئے منظر تھے
پھر بھی ہر روز نئے لگتے تھے
ان دنوں گھر سے عجب رشتہ تھا
سارے دروازے گلے لگتے تھے
رہ سمجھتی تھیں اندھیری گلیاں
لوگ پہچانے ہوئے لگتے تھے
جھیلیں پانی سے بھری رہتی تھیں
سب کے سب پیڑ ہرے لگتے تھے
شہر تھے اونچی فصیلوں والے
ڈر زمانے کے پرے لگتے تھے
باندھ رکھا تھا زمیں نے علویؔ
ہم مگر پھر بھی اڑے لگتے تھے
