برف باری میں

محمد انور خالد

جہاں لکڑی کی میزوں اور ننگی کرسیوں میں

شہ بلوطی گردنوں کا خم نظر آئے

وہاں جھکنا عبادت ہے

میں ننگے پاؤں باہر آ گیا تھا برف باری میں

مری کھڑکی کے نیچے چاندنی سے بھی زیادہ چاندنی تھی

جب ہوا پاگل ہوئی

اور تم نے چہرہ موڑ کر سونے کی کوشش کی

ہوا سنتی نہیں ہے

ہوا جب بھی چلے گی کھڑکیوں پر ضرب آئے گی

کوئی آواز بھی ہوگی

چلو ایسا کرو سو لو

تم اپنی نیند دو دن کے لیے محفوظ کر لو

برف باری میں رفاقت کی ہر اک صورت عبادت ہے

jahan lakDi ki mezon aur nangi kursiyon mein
shah-e-baluti gardanon ka KHam nazar aae
wahan jhukna ibaadat hai
main nange panw bahar aa gaya tha barf-bari mein
meri khiDki ke niche chandni se bhi ziyaada chandni thi
jab hawa pagal hui
aur tum ne chehra moD kar sone ki koshish ki
hawa sunti nahin hai
hawa jab bhi chalegi khiDkiyon par zarb aaegi
koi aawaz bhi hogi
chalo aisa karo so lo
tum apni nind do din ke liye mahfuz kar lo
barf-bari mein rifaqat ki har ek surat ibaadat hai
