برسات

مرتضیٰ ساحل تسلیمی

گرمی کی جب چھٹی ہوئی

برسات کی رت آ گئی

بادل گرجتے آ گئے

سورج میاں گھبرا گئے

بادل کئی دن تک رہے

سورج میاں چھپتے پھرے

بارش کی بچو جھڑ لگی

تو پھر کئی دن تک رہی

گھر میں ہمیں رہنا پڑا

سڑکوں پہ تھا پانی کھڑا

بارش رکی تو اٹھ گئے

اسکول جانے کے لیے

ہم پائنچے اونچے کیے

اور ہاتھ میں چھتری لیے

بے بی کو لے کر چل دئے

اسکول پڑھنے کے لیے

مرتضیٰ ساحل تسلیمی

garmi ki jab chhuTTi hui
barsat ki rut aa gai
baadal garajte aa gae
suraj miyan ghabra gae
baadal kai din tak rahe
suraj miyan chhupte phire
barish ki bachcho jhaD lagi
to phir kai din tak rahi
ghar mein hamein rahna paDa
saDkon pe tha pani khaDa
barish ruki to uTh gae
school jaane ke liye
hum paenche unche kiye
aur hath mein chhatri liye
baby ko le kar chal diye
school paDhne ke liye
