بے لوث محبت کا صلہ ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

ناداں ہوں یہ اس شہر میں کیا ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

اک موڑ پہ ٹوٹے ہوئے کھنڈر سے مکاں میں

گزرے ہوئے لمحوں کا پتا ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

مدت سے یہ خنجر مرے سینے میں ہے اور میں

رستے ہوئے زخموں کی دوا ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

دیوانہ جسے سنگ تراشی کا جنوں ہے

کہتا ہے کہ پتھر میں خدا ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

منصف ترے انصاف سے واقف ہوں تبھی تو

ناکردہ گناہوں کی سزا ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں

یہ شام اور اس پر تری یادوں کی حلاوت

اک جام میں دو شے کا نشہ ڈھونڈھ رہا ہوں
