دیکھوں جدھر مجھے ترا جلوہ دکھائی دے

شہر شب فراق کے گہرے سکوت میں

اپنی صدا مجھے بھی کبھی تو سنائی دے

یاد حبیب مجھ کو بھی اب مجھ سے کر جدا

مجھ کو ہجوم درد میں میری اکائی دے

کب سے میں خامشی کے نگر میں مقیم ہوں

لیکن یہ کون ہے جو یہاں بھی سنائی دے

ظلمت زدوں کو جادہ و منزل کی کیا خبر

تاریک راستوں میں بھلا کیا سجھائی دے

قطرے میں موجزن ہے سمندر ہی ہر جگہ

اب وہ مجھے فراز افق تک رسائی دے

مقتل میں کیسے چھوڑ کے راہیں بدل گیا

یا رب کسی صنم کو نہ ایسی خدائی دے
