نہیں ہے ارے یہ بغاوت نہیں ہے

نیرج گوسوامی

نہیں ہے ارے یہ بغاوت نہیں ہے

ہمیں سر جھکانے کی عادت نہیں ہے

چھپائے ہوئے ہیں وہی لوگ خنجر

جو کہتے کسی سے عداوت نہیں ہے

کروں کیا پروں کا اگر ان سے مجھ کو

فلک ناپنے کی اجازت نہیں ہے

اٹھا کر گرانا گرا کر مٹانا

ہمارے یہاں کی روایت نہیں ہے

ملا کر نگاہیں جھکاتے جو گردن

وہی کہہ رہے ہیں محبت نہیں ہے

بہت کر لی پہلے زمانے سے ہم نے

ہمیں اب کسی سے شکایت نہیں ہے

کہو کیا کرو گے گھٹاؤں کا نیرجؔ

اگر بھیگ جانے کی چاہت نہیں ہے

hamein sar jhukane ki aadat nahin hai

chhupae hue hain wahi log KHanjar
jo kahte kisi se adawat nahin hai

karun kya paron ka agar in se mujh ko
falak napne ki ijazat nahin hai

uTha kar girana gira kar miTana
hamare yahan ki riwayat nahin hai

mila kar nigahen jhukate jo gardan
wahi kah rahe hain mohabbat nahin hai

bahut kar li pahle zamane se hum ne
hamein ab kisi se shikayat nahin hai

kaho kya karoge ghaTaon ka 'niraj'
agar bhig jaane ki chahat nahin hai
