راکشس تھا نہ خدا تھا پہلے

آدمی کتنا بڑا تھا پہلے

آسماں کھیت سمندر سب لال

خون کاغذ پہ اگا تھا پہلے

میں وہ مقتول جو قاتل نہ بنا

ہاتھ میرا بھی اٹھا تھا پہلے

اب کسی سے بھی شکایت نہ رہی

جانے کس کس سے گلا تھا پہلے

شہر تو بعد میں ویران ہوا

میرا گھر خاک ہوا تھا پہلے
