جو اب جواں ہے وہ عزم جواں رہے نہ رہے

بہار آئے نہ آئے خزاں رہے نہ رہے

پتہ نہیں کہ سمندر میں بعد طوفاں بھی

سفینہ ہو کے نہ ہو بادباں رہے نہ رہے

قدم قدم پہ اگی رنجشوں کے عالم میں

جوار یار در دوستاں رہے نہ رہے

گھر اپنا بھر لو ابھی خیر ہے اجالوں سے

جب آندھیاں ہوں دیا ضو فشاں رہے نہ رہے

ہم انقلاب کا باعث جسے سمجھتے ہیں

وہ گرم خون رگوں میں رواں رہے نہ رہے

نفس نفس ہے شرابور جس کی نکہت سے

وہ گل کھلیں نہ کھلیں گلستاں رہے نہ رہے

بھٹک رہے ہیں نشانوں سے تیر اب اس کے

کڑی ابھی بھی وہ دیکھو کماں رہے نہ رہے

ابھی ابھار لو الفاظ جو دبے ہوں نہالؔ

دہن کے ساتھ ہمیشہ زباں رہے نہ رہے

jo ab jawan hai wo azm-e-jawan rahe na rahe
bahaar aae na aae KHizan rahe na rahe

pata nahin ki samundar mein baad-e-tufan bhi
safina ho ke na ho baadban rahe na rahe

qadam qadam pe ugi ranjishon ke aalam mein
jawar-e-yar dar-e-dostan rahe na rahe

ghar apna bhar lo abhi KHair hai ujalon se
jab aandhiyan hon diya zau-fishan rahe na rahe

hum inqalab ka bais jise samajhte hain
wo garm KHun ragon mein rawan rahe na rahe

nafas nafas hai sharabor jis ki nikhat se
wo gul khilen na khilen gulsitan rahe na rahe

bhaTak rahe hain nishanon se tir ab us ke
kaDi abhi bhi wo dekho kaman rahe na rahe

abhi ubhaar lo alfaz jo dabe hon 'nihaal'
dahan ke sath hamesha zaban rahe na rahe
