قاعدے بازار کے اس بار الٹے ہو گئے
آپ تو آئے نہیں پر پھول مہنگے ہو گئے
ایک دن دونوں نے اپنی ہار مانی ایک ساتھ
ایک دن جس سے جھگڑتے تھے اسی کے ہو گئے
مجھ کو اس حسن نظر کی داد ملنی چاہئے
پہلے سے اچھے تھے جو کچھ اور اچھے ہو گئے
مدتوں سے ہم نے کوئی خواب بھی دیکھا نہیں
مدتوں اک شخص کو جی بھر کے دیکھے ہو گئے
بس ترے آنے کی اک افواہ کا ایسا اثر
کیسے کیسے لوگ تھے بیمار اچھے ہو گئے

bas tere aane ki ek afwah ka aisa asar
kaise kaise log the bimar achchhe ho gae
