کمال آدمی کی انتہا ہے

وہ آئندہ میں بھی سب سے بڑا ہے

کوئی رفتار ہوگی روشنی کی

مگر وہ اس سے بھی آگے گیا ہے

جہاں بیٹھے صدائے غیب آئی

یہ سایہ بھی اسی دیوار کا ہے

مجسم ہو گئے سب خواب میرے

مجھے میرا خزانہ مل گیا ہے

حقیقت ایک ہے لذت میں لیکن

حکایت سلسلہ در سلسلہ ہے

یوں ہی حیراں نہیں ہیں آنکھ والے

کہیں اک آئنہ رکھا ہوا ہے

وصال یار سے پہلے محبت

خود اپنی ذات کا اک راستا ہے

سلامت آئنے میں ایک چہرہ

شکستہ ہو تو کتنا دیکھتا ہے
