میرے لیے ہزار کرے اہتمام حرص

میں وہ ہوں مجھ پہ ڈال سکے گی نہ دام حرص

ہے کچھ نہ کچھ ہر آدمی کو لا کلام حرص

لیکن نہ اس قدر کہ بنا لے غلام حرص

اے زلف پھیل پھیل کے رخسار کو نہ ڈھانک

کر نیم روز کی نہ شہ ملک شام حرص

واعظ شراب و حور کی الفت میں غرق ہے

ہے سر سے پاؤں تک یہ ستمگر تمام حرص

دل چھین عاشقوں کے مگر ہوشیار رہ

ایسا نہ ہو کہ دل کو بنا لے غلام حرص

ناقص رہیں گے سارے تلون سے کاروبار

کرنے نہ دے گی تجھ کو یہاں کوئی کام حرص

قبضہ اٹھائے گی نہ دل روزگار سے

جب تک نہ زندگی کا کرے اختتام حرص

مدت سے اشتیاق ہے بوس و کنار کا

گر حکم ہو شروع کرے اپنا کام حرص

پرویںؔ لگی ہوئی ہے خدا سے مجھے امید

دل کو مرے بنائے نہ اپنا غلام حرص
