پروفیسر رشید حسرت
کُھل کے روئے کَراہنے والے
حُسن تیرا سراہنے والے
کیوں گوارا کریں بھلا تذلِیل
ہم بھلا تیرا چاہنے والے
کھوٹا دِل ہم کو مڑھ گئے یارو
اپنا سودا سراہنے والے
توڑ کر وہ بھی چل دِیئے، رِشتہ
سختیوں میں نِباہنے والے
تُم کو سسرال میں نہ پُوچھے کوئی
اور انداز پاہنے والے
کون اپنا ہمیں بنائے گا
طرز اپنے جو راہنے والے
یاد حسرتؔ کو اب بھی آتے ہیں
دَور وہ فصل گاہنے والے
