رستہ تکتے تکتے
پروفیسر رشید حسرت
رستہ تکتے تکتے اک دن پتھر ھو جائیں گے
مئے سے کتراتے کتراتے ساغر ھو جائیں گے
پیاسے ہیں آنکھوں میں جُگنو اور ایسا بھی ھو گا
خاک پہ اُترے تو یہ جُگنو ساگر ھو جائیں گے
تب دل کی دہلیز کو چُھونے آئیں گے وہ پاؤں
جب اندر کے سارے خطّے بنجر ھو جائیں گے
اگلی عُمر کے بھانپنے تک تو جانے کیا ھو جائے
ھم تم جاتی رُت کا کوئی منظر ھو جائیں گے
آنکھ کی ناؤ میں بیٹھ کے سیر کو جانے والے
بیچ سفر میں غرقِ سمندر ھو جائیں گے
