میں جہاں جا کے چھپا تھا وہیں دیوار گری

لوگ قسطوں میں مجھے قتل کریں گے شاید

سب سے پہلے مری آواز پہ تلوار گری

اور کچھ دیر مری آس نہ ٹوٹی ہوتی

آخری موج تھی جب ہاتھ سے پتوار گری

اگلے وقتوں میں سنیں گے در و دیوار مجھے

میری ہر چیخ مرے عہد کے اس پار گری

خود کو اب گرد کے طوفاں سے بچاؤ قیصرؔ

تم بہت خوش تھے کہ ہمسائے کی دیوار گری
