طلسم یار رگ و پے میں ڈھل رہا تھا، ہم

نشاط و غم کے صحیفے الٹ کے دیکھتے کیا

بہار نو کو جنم دے رہی تھی وصل کی شب

ہم عافیت کی رتوں میں سمٹ کے دیکھتے کیا

تھا سیل حسرت دل دشمن حیات مگر

رہ بقا بھی اسی میں تھی ہٹ کے دیکھتے کیا
