کوئی پہرہ لگا نہیں ہوتا

رفعت شمیم

کوئی پہرہ لگا نہیں ہوتا

میں ہی پھر بھی رہا نہیں ہوتا

خون دل کا ہوا تو یہ جانا

نقش کیوں دیر پا نہیں ہوتا

وقت کیوں ہے غبار آنکھوں میں

عکس بھی آشنا نہیں ہوتا

کچھ تو دل سے کہا ہے آنکھوں نے

زخم دل کیا ہرا نہیں ہوتا

پھر اسے ہی تلاش کرتا ہوں

جس کا کوئی پتا نہیں ہوتا

جو بھی اپنی زباں سے دیتا وہ

ذائقہ بد مزا نہیں ہوتا

main hi phir bhi raha nahin hota

KHun dil ka hua to ye jaana
naqsh kyun der-pa nahin hota

waqt kyun hai ghubar aankhon mein
aks bhi aashna nahin hota

kuchh to dil se kaha hai aankhon ne
zaKHm-e-dil kya hara nahin hota

phir use hi talash karta hun
jis ka koi pata nahin hota

jo bhi apni zaban se deta wo
zaiqa bad-maza nahin hota
