آپ کی رہبری نہیں ہوتی

آپ کی رہبری نہیں ہوتی

زندگی زندگی نہیں ہوتی

روبرو تم سے گر نہیں آتے

دل کی دھڑکن تھمی نہیں ہوتی

چاہے درویش وہ قلندر ہو

خواہشوں میں کمی نہیں ہوتی

ذکر جاناں نہ جس میں شامل ہو

بندگی بندگی نہیں ہوتی

مختلف ہے مزاج دونوں کا

نثر میں شاعری نہیں ہوتی

دل کے ماروں کو ملتی جو منزل

تو یہاں خودکشی نہیں ہوتی

وقت رہتے گلے لگا لو تم

پیار میں بے رخی نہیں ہوتی

تم اگر چھوڑ کر نہیں جاتے

غم زدہ زندگی نہیں ہوتی

لاکھ کوشش کروں مگر روشنؔ

درد دل میں کمی نہیں ہوتی
