صابر دانش

ابھی تک زبانوں پہ فریاد ہے

مرا ملک برسوں سے آزاد ہے

اسے سن کے ہے داد مجھ کو ملی

مری شاعری میری روداد ہے

تمہیں عدل و انصاف آتا نہیں

ہمیں اپنی سلطانیت یاد ہے

میں انگلی پکڑ کر چلا نہ کبھی

مرا تجربہ میرا استاد ہے

اخوت سے جینے کا فن سیکھ لے

اگر تو بھی آدم کی اولاد ہے

کرو نیکیاں کام اچھے کرو

ہر اک زندگانی کی میعاد ہے

دعائیں بزرگوں کی شامل رہیں

تو دانشؔ مرا گھر بھی آباد ہے

mera mulk barson se aazad hai

ise sun ke hai dad mujh ko mili
meri shairi meri rudad hai

tumhein adl-o-insaf aata nahin
hamein apni sultaniyat yaad hai

main ungli pakaD kar chala na kabhi
mera tajraba mera ustad hai

uKHuwwat se jine ka fan sikh le
agar tu bhi aadam ki aulad hai

karo nekiyan kaam achchhe karo
har ek zindagani ki miad hai

duaen buzurgon ki shamil rahen
to 'danish' mera ghar bhi aabaad hai
