سرفراز خان اعظمی

ایسا نہیں کہ تجھ سے شکایت نہیں مجھے

خود کو گنوا کے تیری ضرورت نہیں مجھے

اس ڈگمگاتی ناؤ پہ ساحل کی آرزو

آئی سمجھ میں اب بھی سیاست نہیں مجھے

پتھراؤ ہو رہا ہے مری سمت اس لیے

کہتا ہوں سچ کہ جھوٹ کی عادت نہیں مجھے

اب میں جو ملتجی ہوں تو وہ ملتفت نہیں

کہتے ہیں بار بار کہ فرصت نہیں مجھے

کچھ مجھ میں بزدلی کے عناصر ضرور ہیں

اس سے مراد اپنی شرافت نہیں مجھے

بہلا رہا ہوں خود کو غم روزگار سے

کیا اب جنون شوق و محبت نہیں مجھے

سب کچھ مفارقت کی رعایت سے کہہ دیے

کہتے تھے جو کہ صبر و قناعت نہیں مجھے

مطلب پرست لوگوں میں گزری ہے ایک عمر

بے جا کرم پہ آپ کے حیرت نہیں مجھے

مکر و فریب و طعنہ و تہمت سے دور ہوں

مشہور یہ ہے خواہش جنت نہیں مجھے

ملتا ہوں اک توارد خاطر کو شانہ کش

مقصود اس سے دل کی حفاظت نہیں مجھے

شمع امید وصل منور ہے سرفرازؔ

طول شب فراق سے وحشت نہیں مجھے

kya ab junun-e-shauq-o-mohabbat nahin mujhe

sab kuchh mafariqat ki riayat se kah diye
kahte the jo ki sabr-o-qanaat nahin mujhe

matlab-parast logon mein guzri hai ek umr
beja karam pe aap ke hairat nahin mujhe

makr-o-fareb-o-tana-o-tohmat se dur hun
mashhur ye hai KHwahish-e-jannat nahin mujhe

milta hun ek tawarud-e-KHatir ko shana-kash
maqsud is se dil ki hifazat nahin mujhe

shama-e-umid-e-wasl munawwar hai 'sarfaraaz'
tul-e-shab-e-firaq se wahshat nahin mujhe
