شہناز نبی
برسوں گزرے
کسی جھیل میں پنکھ ڈبوئے ہوئے
صدیاں بیتیں
سر ساحل بانہہ پسارے ہوئے
وہ مان سروور
جس میں سحر کی ہلکی میٹھی دھوپ بھی ہے
پیڑوں کا گھنیرا سایہ بھی
اور قل قل کرتی خاموشی
وہ جس کی راہیں درگم سی
یہ ہنس اسے پا جائے اگر
سب گرد وہیں دھو آئے گا
سب درد ڈبو آئے گا وہیں
وہ جس کی تمنا میں دن دن
یہ پنکھ بکھرتے جاتے ہیں
یہ سانس الجھتی رہتی ہے

jis mein sahar ki halki miThi dhup bhi hai

wo jis ki rahen durgam si
ye hans use pa jae agar
sab gard wahin dho aaega
sab dard Dubo aaega wahin
wo jis ki tamanna mein din din
ye pankh bikharte jate hain
ye sans ulajhti rahti hai
