نکلا تھا میں صدائے جرس کی تلاش میں

دھوکے سے اس سکوت کے صحرا میں آ گیا

کیوں آج اس کا ذکر مجھے خوش نہ کر سکا

کیوں آج اس کا نام مرا دل دکھا گیا

میں جسم کے حصار میں محصور ہوں ابھی

وہ روح کی حدوں سے بھی آگے چلا گیا

اس حادثے کو سن کے کرے گا یقیں کوئی

سورج کو ایک جھونکا ہوا کا بجھا گیا
