کوئی جب روح کو جکڑتا ہے

کھیل سارہ تبھی بگڑتا ہے

جب بھی کوشش کی بھولنے کی تجھے

اک طماچہ سا کوئی جڑتا ہے

تھا فقط تیرا مسئلہ ورنہ

ساری دنیا سے کون لڑتا ہے

تیرے کوچے میں روز آؤں پر

ایک روڑا بہت ہی اڑتا ہے

درد فرقت میں ایک دیوانہ

بے وجہ ہر کسی سے لڑتا ہے

اچھے اچھے پناہ مانگتے ہیں

جب بھی درویش ضد پہ اڑتا ہے

koi jab ruh ko jakaDta hai
khel sara tabhi bigaDta hai

jab bhi koshish ki bhulne ki tujhe
ek tamacha sa koi jaDta hai

tha faqat tera masala warna
sari duniya se kaun laDta hai

tere kuche mein roz aaun par
ek roDa bahut hi aDta hai

dard-e-furqat mein ek diwana
be-wajah har kisi se laDta hai

achchhe achchhe panah mangte hain
jab bhi darwesh zid pe aDta hai
