آگ باروت میں لگاتے ہو

دل جدائی کی آگ نے پھونکا

اشک پس تم بجھانے جاتے ہو

میرا بے یار جیونا معلوم

اے دم اب کیوں تم آتے جاتے ہو

ہاتھ کو گو چھٹا چلے کیا غم

دل سے جاؤ تو جانوں جاتے ہو

کر علیؔ پر نظر ترحم کی

اس پہ کیا خلق کو ہنساتے ہو
