رہنے دیتی ہے گھر کب آوارہ گردی
پہلے اپنے شہر کے سارے رستے سمجھو
شوق سے کھل کے کرنا تب آوارہ گردی
کتنی صبحیں عجلت میں مر جاتی ہیں
کرتے ہیں جب میں اور شب آوارہ گردی
در در گھوم رہا ہوں میں اک مدت سے
ختم کسی صورت ہو رب آوارہ گردی
اک میں ہی ہوں یاسرؔ جو بدنام ہوا
ویسے تو کرتے ہیں سب آوارہ گردی
