اور اک آہ کھینچتا ہوں میں
پڑھتا رہتا ہوں اپنے چہرے کو
کون ہوں کیا ہوں سوچتا ہوں میں
اپنے ماضی کی خستہ گلیوں میں
اس کی یادوں سے کھیلتا ہوں میں
کتنے پیڑوں نے مجھ کو پوچھا تھا
دھوپ سے روز پوچھتا ہوں میں
تیری تکمیل ہو گئی لیکن
اپنا ملبہ سمیٹتا ہوں میں
اے مرے ساحل گمان و یقیں
لے ترا ہاتھ چھوڑتا ہوں میں
