تمہیں بتاو کہ فی زمانہ سراغ پاؤں کہاں سحر کا

چراغ_ خیمہ بجها کے دیکها نہیں ہے کوئی نشان سحر کا

یہ تیرگی میں مچل رہا تھا، بلک رہا تھا، سسک رہا تھا

ترے خیالوں نے آکے باندھا ہے میرے دل میں سماں سحر کا

اندهیر نگری میں چل رہا ہوں میں ہر قدم پر پهسل رہا ہوں

مگر مرا دل یہ کہہ رہا ہے یہیں کہیں ہے مکاں سحر کا

گلاب جوڑے میں صبح دم گلستاں میں آکر سجا رہی ہے

سبھی اسی کو ہی تک رہے ہیں سو ہو گیا ہے زیاں سحر کا

یہ تیرے چہرے، ترے بدن کے ہر ایک حصے کو چهو رہی ہے

یوں لگ رہا ہے کہ آج تو ہے ہر اک ارادہ جواں سحر کا
