جسے دیکھیے وہ حسینوں کہ پہلو میں

اپنے لیے کچھ جگیں چاہتے ہیں

حسینوں کہ دل بھی

محبت کی جھوٹی

کہانی پہ رکھنا یقیں چاہتے ہیں

یہ کیا ہے کہ سب ہی لگے ایک دھن میں

کسی کو کسی کی خبر ہی نہیں ہے

کوئی بھی نہ چونکا ہے اپنے نشاں سے

سبھی کہ ارادے بھی پختا ہوا سے

نئے دن نیا کوئی چکر چلا ہیں

محبت بھی دو دن میں کر کہ مٹائیں

کوئی تو یہ سمجھے کوئی تو ہی جانے

محبت نہیں ہیں یہ کانٹوں کی راہیں

کبھی تو پلٹ کر بھی رستوں کو دیکھیں

کہ کتنوں کو جانے کہا چھوڑ آئے

یہ ہوں گے تو رسوا اسی زندگی میں

کریں گے یہ شکوا بھی کیا ہی کسی سے

بس اپنی ہی لو میں سلگتے رہیں گے

جو کھلتے ہیں چہرے

اُترتے رہیں گے

کوئی بھی نہ آئے گا پھر تو منانے

یہ دن رات رستوں کو تکتے رہیں گے

پھر اپنے ہی دل سے یہ اِک دن کہیں گے

نہیں ہم تو جینا نہیں چاہتے ہیں
