الفت میں بے قراری یہ افشاں ہے آج کل

کم گفتگو سے میری وہ سوزاں ہے آج کل

باتوں سے عیاں ہے یہ شرارت یہ بے رخی

اپنے رقیب سے وہ بھی لرزاں ہے آج کل

کھل کر نہیں وہ کرتے یہ اظہار عشق کا

سر آئینہ خودی سے پشیماں ہے آج کل

ہوتے ہیں روز میری فراغت کے منتظر

میرے حبیب مجھ سے پریشاں ہے آج کل

کس حق سے ناز تیرے میں اٹھاؤں اے صنم

رشتہ وفا سے تو بھی گریزاں ہے آج کل

مصرع سخن میں ان کہ ہے شامل قیاس گُل

غزلوں میں عشق صاف نمایاں ہے آج کل

کتنی مماثلت ہے یہ دھوکے میں آپسی

یہ عشق ہم سے اب تو ہراساں ہے آج کل
