حضرت ابن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔ اگر کوئی خواب میں دیکھے کہ اس کے جوتے کے تسمے ٹوٹے ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ مدت تک سفر میں رہے گا۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کے جوتے میں سوراخ ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ کسی وجہ سے سفر سے رکے گا اور رنج اٹھائے گا۔

اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کا جوتا سبز ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کا سفر آخرت کے لئے ہوگا اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کے پاس جوتا نہیں ہے اس لئے سفر سے رکا ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ کنیز یعنی خادمہ پائے گا۔ حضرت جابر مغربی رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے۔

اگر دیکھے کہ اس کی جوتی سیاہ ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ وہ عورت مالدار ہو گی۔ اور اگر سرخ ہے تو اس کی عورت عیاش اور خوشی پسند ہو گی۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کا جوتا سفید ہے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کی عورت پارسا اور پاکیزہ رخ ہو گی۔ اوراگر دیکھے کہ اس کے جوتے میں مذکورہ سب طرح کے رنگ ہیں تو اس عورت میں سب صفات ہوں گی۔

اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس کے جوتے بند گائے کے چمڑے کے ہیں۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس کی عورت اصل عجمی ہو گی۔ اوراگر جوتے کے بند اونٹ کے چمڑے کے دیکھے۔ دلیل ہے کہ اس عورت کی اصل عرب سے ہو گی۔ اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس چلتے وقت اس کا جوتا گرا ہے یا ضائع ہوا ہے غور کرو کہ اس جوتے کے بند کس چمڑے کے ہیں۔
